2017 Geol 508 Class on the Devil’s Chair
The Geology 508 class spent Spring Break at the Devil’s Punchbowl, Los Angeles, CA. The second of three field trips, students used the fundamentals of sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, and superposition to unravel the geologic history of the Punchbowl.
