Words Matter: They Frame Our World is a seven-day symposium designed to educate participants about content material, skills, and an appreciation of the impact of what is said, how we hear it, and the absence of words (silence). This series of events is the result of many faculty members and students asking how to best address, in an academic way, the changing political and social environment the U.S. is facing. Also, Germantown's Earth Day celebration will have a display about science and global climate change.
